▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Removing heavy metal ion from polluted air involves contacting the heavy metal polluted air with graphene oxide (GO) gel comprising GO three-dimensional (3D) nanosheet prepared by the organometallic compound for a period of time and under conditions sufficient to permit adsorption of the heavy metal ions by the GO gel comprising GO 3D nanosheet, where the diverse and dense oxygenated groups, including hydroxyl and epoxy carboxylic acid groups, on the GO 3D nanosheet in the gel form enhanced the capacity to remove heavy metal ion. USE - Method for removing heavy metal ion from polluted air. ADVANTAGE - The method has cost-effective, simplified design, and easy to operate, and solves a big problem regarding air pollution through poisonous heavy metal coming from vehicles exhaust, and factories. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method of preparing GO gel comprising GO 3D nanosheet, which involves: (a) providing GO, dissolving in a solvent to obtain a homogenous mixture containing GO; (b) providing metallocene, dissolving in an alcoholic solvent to obtain an alcoholic solution of metallocene; (c)adding the alcoholic solution of metallocene to the homogenous mixture containing GO by violent shaking; and (d) keeping the mixture at rest to form GO gel comprising GO 3D nanosheet.
