▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - The electrochemical process comprises dispersing carbon nanotubes (CNTs) in ethanol by sonication followed by deposition onto a polar/non polar conducting substrate by dip coating, spin coating/brush coating, oxidizing CNTs in conducting solution by applying a positive potential for period of 4-12 hrs to obtain CNT oxide, and reducing CNT oxide by applying negative potential for period of 4-12 hrs to obtain graphene with a yield of 6-7%. The CNTs consist of single walled, double walled and multi walled CNTs, where positive and negative potentials are 0.5-0.8V and -0.5 to -0.7 V respectively. USE - The electrochemical process for synthesis of graphene in the form of ribbons, layers, scrolls, flowers and urchins (claimed) from carbon nanotubes. ADVANTAGE - The electrochemical process ensures synthesis of graphene with improved room temperature quantum hall effect, long range ballistic transport, high quality, conductivity and mobility, increased yield, less defects and more uniform layer thickness.
