NOVELTY - Modified graphene oxide is obtained by chemically modifying graphene oxide by hydrophilic polymer. USE - The modified graphene oxide is used for oil displacement agent useful in the field of petroleum exploitation (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The modified graphene oxide can change the wettability of the oil layer rock, emulsify the crude oil, and make the crude oil easily peel off and move. The water-soluble polymer grafted by steric hindrance effect improves the stability of graphene oxide nanosheets in brine, so that the graphene oxide nanosheets can exist stably in formation water with high salinity. Even in a high-salt environment, the modified graphene oxide nanosheet remains stable, which can effectively improve the oil displacement efficiency.
