NOVELTY - Spherical graphene/manganese tetraoxide composite material, which has spherical microstructure, comprises manganese tetraoxide uniformly dispersed in surface of spherical graphene as matrix. USE - Spherical graphene/manganese tetraoxide composite material used as electrode material in supercapacitor (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The spherical graphene/manganese tetraoxide composite material has high specific capacitance i.e. 316.65 F/g. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of spherical graphene/manganese tetraoxide composite material comprising mixing spherical graphene and deionized water at 1:300-1:700 mass ratio, ultrasonically treating for 10-20 minutes, obtaining spherical graphene dispersion liquid, adding potassium permanganate solution, ultrasonically dispersing for 5-10 minutes, obtaining uniformly mixed spherical graphene/potassium permanganate solution dispersion, hydrothermally reacting at 100-300 degrees C for 8-15 hours, centrifugally separating the precipitates, and washing the precipitates to obtain the product.
