NOVELTY - An electrochromic device comprises working electrode having electrochromic layer of tungsten trioxide with graphene oxide, an indium-tin oxide (ITO) coated glass as counter electrode and an electrolyte. USE - Electrochromic device used for forming smart glass for window opening in residential building, greenhouse and rear-view mirror of vehicle. ADVANTAGE - The electrochromic device has excellent electrically controlled light transmission, and increased current density in coloring reactions.
