NOVELTY - A high-performance graphene-modified asphalt comprises 70# base asphalt, 12-14 %mass graphene, and 0.8-1 %mass polyvinylpyrrolidone. USE - High-performance graphene-modified asphalt is used for highway pavement construction. ADVANTAGE - The high-performance graphene-modified asphalt has excellent low-temperature crack resistance, rutting resistance factor (high-temperature resistance) at 64° C, and creep recovery rate (delayed elastic recovery energy). The method for producing the high-performance graphene-modified asphalt can effectively solve the problem of graphene agglomeration in the production process, so that graphene can be evenly dispersed in the asphalt and play a corresponding modification role, especially suitable for the mass production of graphene-modified asphalt. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of the high-performance graphene-modified asphalt, which involves adding absolute ethanol to the polyvinylpyrrolidone until the polyvinylpyrrolidone is completely dissolved to obtain a mixed solution, subjecting the mixed solution to ultrasonic vibration for 1.5 hours in a closed state, adding the mixed solution to 70# base asphalt to obtain a mixture, placing the mixture at 70° C and baking for 6-8 hours, cutting the mixture to obtain a high-quality graphene-modified asphalt, in which the shear rate is 3800-4000 rpm, shear temperature is 110° C and shear time is 55-60 minutes.
