NOVELTY - Room temperature modified asphalt composition comprises 100 pts. wt. modified asphalt mixture comprising 4-15 wt.% modified asphalt binder including nanomaterial graphene oxide and 85-96 wt.% aggregate, and 10-30 pts. wt. dry oil including metal salt drying agent. The graphene oxide is a two-dimensional layer structure having size of less than or equal to 30 mu m, layer interval of 0.7-1.2 nm, and specific surface area of 500-800 m2/g. The graphene oxide is graphene oxide compound (I). USE - The composition is useful for emergency repair. ADVANTAGE - The composition improves application temperature range, plastic deformation resistance and fatigue cracking resistance of repair object, and extends durability of road pavement by suppressing temperature cracking resistance and top-down cracking. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for producing room temperature modified asphalt composition, comprising (a) dispersing graphene oxide, softener and thermoplastic elastomer with modified asphalt modified with styrene-butadiene-styrene block copolymer using a high shear mixer at 150-180 degrees C to obtain a mixture, (b) adding rubber powder and petroleum resin into dispersed mixture, and mixing at 150-180 degrees C to prepare a modified asphalt binder, (c) preparing dry oil, (d) mixing aggregates heated at 120-200 degrees C and modified asphalt binder melted at 150-180 degrees C in an asphalt mixing mixer to obtain a modified asphalt mixture, and (e) adding dry oil into modified asphalt mixture to obtain room temperature modified asphalt composition.
