NOVELTY - Manufacture of a lithium-air battery involves heating the porous metal foam at a predetermined temperature, coating an oxide layer having a lithium-philic property (lithiophilic) on the metal foam, coating a lithium layer as an anode active material on the oxide layer by contacting the metal foam coated with the oxide layer with molten lithium, coating an electrolyte layer on the lithium layer, coating a cathode active material layer on the electrolyte layer, laminating an air diffusion layer on the positive electrode active material layer, and connecting the positive terminal to the air diffusion layer. USE - Manufacture of lithium-air battery used for electric vehicles and hybrid vehicles. ADVANTAGE - The method enables to manufacture lithium-air battery with improved lithium-friendly properties and porosity effect.
