NOVELTY - An electrode comprises a current collector and an electrode layer coated on one or more surfaces of the current collector. The electrode layer comprises an electrode active material, a binder, and an additive which is a polyester (I). USE - Electrode is used for secondary battery (claimed) for electric vehicle and grid energy storage. ADVANTAGE - The electrode is easy to handle and is obtained by economical process with improved safety by eliminating the need to handle or recycle hazardous organic solvents.
