NOVELTY - Preparing chiral graphene on an gold substrate involves placing a precursor molecule capable of synthesizing tetra anthracene alkene in the crucible by Ullmann reaction, heating the molecular crucible, so that the precursor molecule sublimation to form molecular beam and depositing to the single crystal gold substrate surface, heating the sample deposited on the base in two steps, firstly heating to the dehalogenation reaction temperature, undergoing Ullman reaction by the precursor molecules, undergoing the dehalogenation reaction by precursor molecules containing halogen groups and performing carbon-carbon coupling to form a dimer i.e. tetra anthracene, and heating through the cleavage of the carbon-hydrogen bond on the benzene ring, which can generate cyclization dehydrogenation reaction and edge fusion to obtain the hand-character of the graphene nano segment or belt. USE - The method is useful for preparing chiral graphene on gold substrate. ADVANTAGE - The method provides chiral graphene nanometre belt with high scientific research value and wide application potential. The gold single crystal substrate is convenient for magnetic detection, an inert gold substrate. The two precursor molecules need heating to remove impurities in advance, ensuring that the molecule deposited on the substrate is sufficient pure. The yield of the tetra anthene and edge fusion structure is mutually competing and mutually dependent relation, will be affected by the annealing rate.
