NOVELTY - A composite negative electrode active material comprises an active material comprising nanosilicon mixed particles, a metal oxide layer coated on the surface of the active material and containing metal oxide nanoparticles, and a carbon coating layer coated on the surface of the metal oxide layer. USE - Composite negative electrode active material used for lithium-ion battery as energy storage device of vehicle. ADVANTAGE - The composite negative electrode active has suppressed volume expansion of the active material, improved electrical conductivity and ionic conductivity characteristics by reducing side reactions with lithium-related components, and excellent capacity and cycle life. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for manufacture of the composite negative electrode active material, which involves preparing a nanosilicon solution containing nanosilicon mixed particles, preparing a metal oxide precursor solution containing a metal oxide precursor, preparing a precursor solution (p1) by mixing the nanosilicon solution and metal oxide precursor solution, (e1) evaporating, preparing a precursor solution (p2) by (h1) heating the evaporated precursor solution (p1), preparing a precursor solution (p3) by mixing the precursor (p2) with a carbon precursor solution containing a carbon precursor, (e2) evaporating, and obtaining the composite negative electrode active material by (h2) heating of the evaporated precursor solution (p3).
