NOVELTY - The material has carbon nanohorn distributed between graphene sheet layers or on surfaces of graphene sheet layers. The material is similar to a gel structure or porous structure. Graphene oxide or reduction-oxidation grapheme or thinlayer graphite oxide and single walled carbon nanohorn processed by concentrated nitric acid is dispersed in a solvent or water for reacting by hydrothermal synthesizing graphene/single-wall carbon nanohorn composite, where the material is dispersed in the solvent or water. USE - Porous conductive graphene/carbon nanohorn composite material for a super capacitor, lithium ion battery and fuel battery (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The carbon nanohorn is distributed between graphene sheet layers or on surfaces of graphene sheet layers so as to improve electrochemical performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for preparing a composite material. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a schematic view of a porous conductive graphene/carbon nanohorn composite material.
