NOVELTY - The method for preparing graphene-carbon composite fiber involves mixing cyano-functionalized graphene oxide and acrylonitrile, and carrying out ultrasonically assisted in-situ polymerization, spinning, pre-oxidation and carbonization. USE - The method for preparing graphene-carbon composite fiber. ADVANTAGE - The method enables simple preparation of graphene-carbon composite fiber with excellent mechanical performance, tensile strength of 7-86%, tensile modulus of 6.8-47%, and is suitable for large-scale industrial production. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for graphene-carbon composite fiber prepared by the method.
