NOVELTY - Preparing nano zinc and iron capsules, comprises (a) adding nano zinc and mesoporous nano silica in 50 ml iron (III) chloride (FeCl3) solution (0.45 M); (b) stirring the mixture at 800 revolutions/minute for 1 hour; (c) adding 0.25 M sodium borohydride solution drop wise; (d) filtering the solution and washing the filtrate twice with water and ethanol to get transparent filtrate after complete mixing; and (e) drying the precipitate on filter in the oven at 60° C for 2 hour to obtain powder. USE - The nano zinc and iron capsules is useful for nitrogen fertilization. ADVANTAGE - The nano zinc and iron capsules has sustained release property, improves seed germination, seed vigour of rice and wheat seeds, enhances crop growth and improves grain quality.
