NOVELTY - Damping material comprises 100 pts. wt. acrylate rubber, 20-60 pts. wt. hindered phenol small molecules, 0.1-0.5 pts. wt. graphene oxide, 1-3 pts. wt. stearic acid, 1-6 pts. wt. vulcanization accelerator, 2-5 pts. wt. antioxidant, 2-4 pts. wt. processing aids and 1-4 pts. wt. vulcanizing agent. USE - Used as damping material. ADVANTAGE - The material has wide temperature region, utilizes the strong hydrogen bonds formed between the graphene oxide, large number of polar groups on the surface, and simultaneously utilizes the barrier property to improve the damping material. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing damping material, comprising (i) preparing large size high oxidation graphene oxide using a modified Hummers method, where the mass ratio of potassium permanganate to graphite is 1:1-3:1; (ii) dispersing graphene oxide ultrasonically in a mixed solution of water and dimethyl sulfoxide, and distilling graphene oxide dimethyl sulfoxide solution under reduced pressure until to obtain graphene oxide in dimethyl sulfoxide solution; (iii) kneading acrylate rubber and the hindered phenol small molecule, stearic acid, vulcanization accelerator, antioxidant, processing aid and vulcanizing agent, passing through thin sheet; cooling, crushing into fine particles, and dissolving in to methyl sulfoxide solution; and (iv) blending solutions from step (ii) and (iii), drying and vulcanizing.
