NOVELTY - Indium-doped zinc oxide composite reduced graphene oxide material prepared by using zinc oxide as wurtzite zinc oxide, substituting indium for part of the zinc position in the zinc oxide lattice by hydrothermal synthesis to obtain indium-doped zinc oxide, and supporting the indium-doped zinc oxide on the reduced graphene oxide sheet layer to obtain indium-doped zinc oxide composite reduction graphene oxide material, namely composite materials. USE - The material is useful as cathode active material in cathode of zinc-nickel secondary battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The material: utilizes wide range of raw materials; has low cost, simple and controllable preparation method, and simple equipment; and is easy to carry out large-scale production. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing the indium-doped zinc oxide composite reduced graphene oxide material, comprising preparing by doping indium with zinc oxide, dissolving zinc acetate and indium chloride in water, adding urea and potassium citrate, stirring until uniform, adding graphite oxide, ultrasonically processing the mixture, then transferring the resulting solution to the reactor, and hydrothermally reacting at specific reaction temperature for period of time, cooling to room temperature, using deionized water for centrifugal washing for more than 3 times, then using vacuum drying oven for drying to obtain indium-doped zinc oxide composite reduced graphene oxide material, where the mass ratio of zinc acetate and indium chloride used is 1:0.01-1:0.1, mass ratio of zinc acetate and urea is 1:1-1:3, mass ratio of zinc acetate and potassium citrate is 1:0.1-1:0.2, mass ratio of zinc acetate and graphite oxide is 1:0.01-1:0.2, concentration of zinc acetate in deionized water is 5-20 mg/ml, carrying out ultrasonic treatment for 5-15 minutes, performing hydrothermal reaction temperature at 100-150 degrees C, and reacting for 8-15 hours.
