NOVELTY - Sepiolite graphene composite aerogel and its preparation method are claimed. The composite aerogel is prepared by (a) ultrasonically dispersing graphene oxide in a hydroalcoholic solution to obtain a graphene oxide dispersion, (b) adding concentrated sepiolite to diluted concentrated acid for acidification, centrifuging and taking the precipitate, washing with deionized water until neutral, drying in a drying oven and calcining in a muffle furnace, (c) adding the treated sepiolite obtained in step (b) into the graphene oxide dispersion, adding boric acid and stirring, (d) adding the dispersion obtained in step (c) into the polytetrafluoroethylene lining of the hydrothermal reactor, placing the reactor in a blast drying oven, taking out the obtained gel after the hydrothermal solvent thermally reacts, adding hydroalcoholic solution for dialysis and freezing in a refrigerator, and (e) freeze-drying the frozen sample obtained in step (d). USE - The composite aerogel is useful in a sewage treatment, China national offshore oil corporation adsorption and environmental repair applications (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composite aerogel is prepared by simple preparation method and has well-developed pore system, large specific surface area, excellent elasticity, mechanical properties and adsorption performance.
