▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Preparing benzimidazole polycarboxylic acid modified graphene involves taking 5-hydroxyisophthalic acid (I) and o-phenylenediamine (II) as raw materials, reacting in polyphthalamide (PPA) and phosphoric acid (H3PO3) system to obtain 3,5-dibenzimidazolylphenol (III); providing 3,5-dibenzimidazolylphenol (III) which is oxidatively hydrolyzed under action of concentrated sulfuric acid and hydrogen peroxide to obtain 3,5-bis(imidazole-4,5-dicarboxy)phenol (IV); shaking with graphene ultrasonically in ethanol solution, then rotary steamed and dried in vacuum drying oven at less than 100 degrees C to obtain brown viscous substance benzimidazole polycarboxylic acid modified graphene. USE - Method for preparing benzimidazole polycarboxylic acid modified graphene used as flame retardant (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare benzimidazole polycarboxylic acid-modified graphene, which has good flame retardant properties and fills research gap in related fields. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing benzimidazole polycarboxylic acid modified graphene involves taking 5-hydroxyisophthalic acid of formula (I) and o-phenylenediamine of formula (II) as raw materials, reacting in polyphthalamide (PPA) and phosphoric acid (H3PO3) system to obtain 3,5-dibenzimidazolylphenol of formula (III); providing 3,5-dibenzimidazolylphenol of formula (III) which is oxidatively hydrolyzed under action of concentrated sulfuric acid and hydrogen peroxide to obtain 3,5-bis(imidazole-4,5-dicarboxy)phenol of formula (IV); shaking with graphene ultrasonically in ethanol solution, then rotary steamed and dried in vacuum drying oven at less than 100 degrees C to obtain brown viscous substance benzimidazole polycarboxylic acid modified graphene..
