NOVELTY - Preparing graphene modified asphalt comprises (i) placing the graphene oxide in an organic solvent and uniformly dispersing and adding isocyanate to react at 50-60 degrees C for 10-15 hours in an inert atmosphere, adding monoalcohol and continuing to react for 5-8 hours, adding hydrazine hydrate and continuing to react for 5-8 hours, filtering, washing, drying and crushing the product to obtain polyurethane-modified graphene; (ii) taking polyethylene glycol, tetrabutyl titanate, and polyurethane-modified graphene into the solution and mixing thoroughly, adjusting the solution to an acidic environment and reacting for 3-5 hours, adjusting the solution for alkaline aging and drying to obtain polyethylene glycol/titanium dioxide/polyurethane modified graphene composite material; and (iii) heating asphalt to a molten state, adding the polyethylene glycol/titanium dioxide/polyurethane modified graphene composite material obtained and high-speed shearing. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene modified asphalt. ADVANTAGE - The method prepares polyurethane graphene oxide by modifying graphene with polyurethane to improve dispersibility in asphalt, and combines polyethylene glycol and titanium dioxide to prepare a composite material to improve the thermal stability of the modified asphalt, avoids the rutting, oiling, potholes, cracking and other faults caused by the excessively high or low ambient temperature of the asphalt pavement.
