NOVELTY - A graphene structure consists of a graphene sheet of single layer, and graphene quantum dots having armchair-type end surface portion at the edge portion of the graphene sheet. A portion of end surface portion is coated with polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane, and bulky group having dendrimer(s) chosen from 3,5-bis(benzyloxy) benzyl, 3,5-bis(3,5-bis(benzyloxy)benzyloxy)benzyl, 3,5-bis(3,5-bis(3,5-bis(benzyloxy)benzyloxy)benzyloxy)benzyl, and 3,4,5-tri-(hexadecyl oxy)benzyl. USE - Graphene structure is used as white fluorescent luminescent material for optics, sensors, and medical treatment. ADVANTAGE - The graphene structure has capability of emitting white light independently.
