NOVELTY - Foaming grade bio-based fully degradable polylactic acid comprises 88.00-99.70 wt.% polylactic acid, 0.10-2.00 wt.% organic peroxide, 0.10-5.00 wt.% vegetable oil and 0.10-5.00 wt.% nucleating agent. USE - As foaming grade bio-based fully degradable polylactic acid. ADVANTAGE - The polylactic acid has branching promotion effect, cell nucleation effect, lubrication effect, demolding effect, improved melt strength, crystallization performance and processing performance and excellent foamability and heat resistance, improves the appearance of fine gloss of final product, is completely renewable and biodegradable, meets the process requirements of continuous extrusion foaming, autoclave foaming, molded foaming and injection foaming, and ensures excellent foamability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing the foamed-grade bio-based fully-degradable polylactic acid, involving (a) taking above-mentioned raw materials, (b) drying polylactic acid and nucleating agent at 100-120 degrees C for 60-120 minutes, and cooling to 10-25 degrees C, (c) uniformly mixing organic peroxide, vegetable oil, polylactic acid and nucleating agent to obtain mixed material, and (d) performing melt extrusion on mixed material by twin-screw extruder, and granulating extruded material by twin-screw extruder to obtain foamed-grade biodegradable polylactic acid.
