▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Omniphobic compatibilizer comprises polymerization reaction product, first vinyl monomer, optionally second vinyl crosslinking monomer, and functionalized omniphobic polymer having glass transition temperature (Tg) of less than or equal to 70 degrees C. The functionalized omniphobic polymer includes at least more vinyl functional groups. USE - The compatibilizer is useful in coated article, omniphobic compatibilizer and thermoset omniphobic composition (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The compatibilizer has physical or chemical property, and hydrophobic and oleophobic properties. The thermoset omniphobic composition coating: is scratch-resistant, ink-resistant, and optically clear; and has strong adhesive properties. The polymer coating has typical hydrophobic and oleophobic properties. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) omniphobic compatibilizer comprising polymerization reaction product, first vinyl monomer, optionally second vinyl crosslinking monomer, and functionalized omniphobic polymer having a glass transition temperature (Tg) of less than or equal to 70 degrees C, the functionalized omniphobic polymer comprising at least one free radical initiator functional group; (2) thermoset omniphobic composition comprising crosslinked polymerization reaction product of mixture comprising omniphobic compatibilizer, third vinyl monomer, fourth polyvinyl crosslinking monomer and UV-curing catalyst; (3) thermoset omniphobic composition comprising crosslinked polymerization reaction product of mixture comprising omniphobic compatibilizer, first thermosetting component comprising functional groups reactive with crosslinking groups of the second vinyl crosslinking monomer in the omniphobic compatibilizer, and second thermosetting component comprising functional groups reactive with the first thermosetting component; and (4) coated article comprising substrate, and thermoset omniphobic composition coated on surface of the substrate.
