NOVELTY - High toughness concrete comprises 0.2-0.5 kg/m3 modified graphene, 150-175 kg/m3 water, 395-415 kg/m3 cement, 45-60 kg/m3 fly ash, 20-35 kg/m3 slag powder, 1000-1100 kg/m3 gravel, 600-700 kg/m3 fine aggregate, and 4.5-7 kg/m3 water-reducing agent. The modified graphene is obtained by modifying water-soluble graphene surface with hydroxy group, where the hydroxy content is 0.005-0.012%. USE - The high toughness concrete is useful in high-speed railway trestle, bridge deck of large span sea cross and river cross bridges, subway, arch tunnel walls and other areas. ADVANTAGE - The concrete has hardening or deformation properties. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing the high toughness concrete, comprising (a) adding the modified graphene in water, stirring at room temperature to completely dissolve and form an uniform solution, then adding the water reducing agent, and stirring for 0.5 hours; (b) mixing the cement, fly ash, slag powder, gravel and fine aggregate in a concrete mixer, and stirring for 3-5 minutes; (c) under stirring state, dropping the uniform solution obtained in the step (a) into the mixer for 3-7 minutes, continuing stirring for 10-15 minutes to obtain high toughness concrete mixed material; and (d) pouring the obtained high toughness mixed material in the concrete mixer, and using vibration table for carrying out vibration molding process, and curing.
