NOVELTY - A polybutylene terephthalate composition comprises 97-99 pts. wt., preferably 98 pts. wt. polybutylene terephthalate, 1-3 pts. wt., preferably 2 pts. wt. calcium carbonate, 2-4 pts. wt., 3 pts. wt. modified silk,10-14 pts. wt., preferably 13 pts. wt. polyethylene oxide homopolymer, and 0.3-0.5 pt. wt., preferably 0.4 pt. wt. graphene oxide. USE - Polybutylene terephthalate composition for forming strings. ADVANTAGE - The composition produces strings having excellent durability and tone. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of the composition, which involves hot-melting polybutylene terephthalate in extruder, adding the remaining ingredients, mixing uniformly, heating the mixture to a colloid state and extruding, cooling to 8-15 degrees C after melt-extrusion, stretching, placing the stretched material in a constant temperature box at 85-120 degrees C, and stewing for 15-60 minutes.
