NOVELTY - Preparing graphene microspheres comprises e.g. placing graphite in mixed solution consisting of concentrated sulfuric acid and potassium permanganate, ultrasonically agitating, washing, filtering, drying and placing in muffle furnace, and treating, dissolving product expanded graphite in deionized water, adding surfactant, and ultrasonically stirring, adding titanium source to solution gradually, ultrasonically stirring, adding ammonia water, where the molar ratio of ammonia water to titanium source is 1-10:1, continue ultrasonically stirring for 0.5-4 hours, spray-drying resulting mixed solution, and placing resulting product in muffle furnace protected by special atmosphere and treating at high temperature of 600-1200 degrees C for 0.1-6 hours, washing obtained product with dilute acid or dilute alkali and deionized aqueous solution for many times, drying in vacuum drying oven for 0.5-8 hours to obtain graphene microspheres. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene microspheres. ADVANTAGE - The method: combines graphene and graphene materials very well, which improves electronic conductivity of materials; and utilizes spray drying method to secondary granulate precursor, which greatly improves tap density of product. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing graphene microspheres comprises (i) placing graphite in mixed solution consisting of concentrated sulfuric acid and potassium permanganate, ultrasonically agitating at 20-60 degrees C for 0.5-5 hours, washing obtained product, filtering, drying and placing in muffle furnace, and treating in nitrogen atmosphere at high temperature of 600-1200 degrees C for 0.1-6 hours to obtain expanded graphite product, (ii) dissolving product expanded graphite obtained in step (i) in deionized water, adding 0.1-5 wt.% surfactant, and ultrasonically stirring for 0.1-2 hours, adding titanium source to solution gradually, the mass ratio of titanium source to expanded graphite precursor is 0.1-20:1, ultrasonically stirring for 0.5-4 hours, adding ammonia water, where the molar ratio of ammonia water to titanium source is 1-10:1, continue ultrasonically stirring for 0.5-4 hours, spray-drying resulting mixed solution, and placing resulting product in muffle furnace protected by special atmosphere and treating at high temperature of 600-1200 degrees C for 0.1-6 hours, washing obtained product with dilute acid or dilute alkali and deionized aqueous solution for many times, drying in vacuum drying oven for 0.5-8 hours to obtain graphene microspheres.
