▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Visible light sensitive photocatalyst structure comprises graphene quantum dots and amine-based dye compound which are bonded by covalent bond. USE - The structure is useful in electrodes of optical-based devices for producing water-decomposition hydrogen (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The structure exhibits catalytic activity to generate hydrogen by decomposing water under visible light irradiation, simultaneously improves reaction rate of photocatalytic reaction and characteristics of catalyst conversion rate, increases efficiency of hydrolysis hydrogen production by increasing transfer efficiency of electrons, and has excellent solubility in aqueous solution, and catalytic activity at low unit cost without application of co-catalyst. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) producing visible light-sensitive photocatalytic structure, comprising (a) synthesizing graphene quantum dots from a carbon-containing material, (b) adding amine-based dye compound into the graphene quantum dots, and (c) bonding the graphene quantum dots and the amine-based dye compound by covalent bonds; and (2) producing water-decomposition hydrogen using visible light sensitive photocatalyst structure, comprising (a1) irradiating light on the visible light sensitive photocatalytic structure, (b1) exciting electrons of the amine-based dye compound, (c1) moving the excited electrons to a conduction band of graphene quantum dots through covalent bonds, and (d1) generating hydrogen gas on surface of the graphene quantum dot.
