NOVELTY - To graphene oxide, hydroxyl-based aluminum and surfactant are ultrasonically dispersed and stirred, and a reducing agent is added. The resultant black precipitate is suction-filtered, washed and dried to obtain modified graphene adsorbent. The surfactant is polyacrylamide, cetyltrimethylammonium bromide and/or sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate. USE - Manufacture of modified graphene adsorbent for treating acidic dye wastewater (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method efficiently and economically provides modified graphene adsorbent having high absorbing rate, by simple method without affecting the environment.
