NOVELTY - Graphene-Schiff base energetic metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) comprises silicon doped compounds (I) and (II). USE - Graphene-Schiff base energetic metal-organic frameworks for use in solid propellants. ADVANTAGE - The metal-organic frameworks improves the stability of the organometallic complex by anchoring on the graphene surface, and introduction of energetic MOFs makes the catalyst energetic, which can meet the requirements of weapons and equipment for the energy characteristics of solid propellants. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Graphene-Schiff base energetic metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) comprises silicon doped compounds of formulae (I) and (II). M1=Mg, Co, Cu, Ni, Fe, Mn or Pb; M2=Mg, Co, Cu, Ni, Fe, Mn or Pb; a=n groups can be connected or 1-methoxy-5-(1H-tetrazol-5-yl)tetrazole moiety of formula (i); and n=0 or positive integer greater than or equal to 1. . An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for preparing graphene-Schiff base energetic MOFs, which involves ultrasonically dispersing graphene-Schiff alkali metal complex in a methanol solution, and dissolving 1,1`-dihydroxy-5,5`- bitetrazole metal complex in dimethylformamide, stirring two solutions and mixing, placing mixture in the polytetrafluoroethylene lining of a stainless steel autoclave, reacting at 180-200 degrees C for 48-60 hours, cooling, centrifuging, washing and freeze-drying.
