NOVELTY - Fireproof lightweight graphene polymer material comprises 60-80 pts. wt. low density polyethylene LDPE, 2-5 pts. wt. modified graphene, 30-38 pts. wt. ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer EVA, 6-8 pts. wt. aluminum sulfate, 5-7 pts. wt. aluminum phenyl hypophosphite, 5-8 pts. wt. water glass, 0 .5-1 pts. wt. vinyl tris(β-methoxyethoxy)silane and 7-9 pts. wt. basic aluminum magnesium carbonate. USE - Fireproof lightweight graphene polymer material used in aerospace cable assembly (claimed), e.g., assembly includes grid installation wires and power cables, engine high-temperature fire-resistant cables, communication data cables and special cables. ADVANTAGE - The flame-retardant cable can form a synergistic fireproof effect when meeting fire, has excellent flame retardant property and obvious lightweight effect, and can be widely applied to wires and cables for aerospace. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing fireproof lightweight graphene polymer material, which involes: (a) weighing raw material including 60-80 pts. wt. low density polyethylene LDPE, 2-5 pts. wt. modified graphene, 30-38 pts. wt. ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer EVA, 6-8 pts. wt. aluminum sulfate, 5-7 pts. wt. aluminum phenyl hypophosphite, 5-8 pts. wt. water glass, 0.5-1 pts. wt. vinyl tris(β-methoxyethoxy)silane and 7-9 pts. wt. basic aluminum magnesium carbonate; (b) putting the prepared raw material in a high-speed mixer, mixing raw material at room temperature at 500-600 revolutions per minute (rpm) for 30-45 minutes; (c) putting the mixed raw material in a kneader, kneading aw material at a temperature of 142-148℃ for 20-25 minutes (min) to obtain the kneaded raw material; (d) placing mixed raw material in an extruder, extruding; and (e) granulating at 148-159℃ to obtain a fireproof lightweight graphene polymer material for aerospace.
