NOVELTY - Preparing graphene-based carbon deposition structure interlayer solid acid catalyst bisulfite-carbon/graphene/carbon-sulfonic acid comprises (i) purifying graphene using concentrated nitric acid or concentrated sulfuric acid, (ii) mixing purified graphene and glucose uniformly and (iii) reacting step (ii) product and concentrated sulfuric acid to obtain graphene-based carbon deposition structure interlayer solid acid catalyst. USE - The catalyst is useful for cellulose catalytic hydrolysis. ADVANTAGE - The catalyst has high catalytic activity and selectivity, thus increases concentration of acidic groups on the catalyst surface, thus enhances efficiency of hydrolysis of cellulose. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for graphene-based carbon deposition structure interlayer solid acid catalyst bisulfite-carbon/graphene/carbon-sulfonic acid cellulose catalytic hydrolysis, comprising adding cellulose and catalyst into deionized water in 10:1-2:1 mass ratio, carrying out hydrolysis reaction at 70-150 degrees C for 2-6 hours, allowing to stand to collect supernatant and centrifuging to obtain glucose-rich liquid product.
