NOVELTY - Preparation of graphene using coal comprises drying low-rank coal powder, microwave absorbers and catalyst in vacuum-drying oven, treating in microwave pyrolysis reactor, washing reaction mixture with cleaning solution, drying, ultrasonic-cleaning, reacting with sodium alkylbenzene sulfonate dispersant under mixed reaction medium of carbon dioxide and nitrogen having 2:1 mass ratio at pressure of reactor of 7.38-7.99 MPa, reacting for 20-25 minutes, washing product with ethanol solution, and drying at 90-110 degrees C for 10 hours. USE - Method for preparing graphene using coal. ADVANTAGE - The method has reduced production cost of graphene, and has simple process, high product quality, and wide raw material source. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of graphene using coal comprises mixing 50-80 pts. wt. low-rank coal powder, 10-15 pts. wt. microwave absorbers and 10-20 pts. wt. catalyst having particle size of less than 0.221 mm uniformly in vacuum-drying oven, transferring into microwave pyrolysis reactor, treating at microwave power of 400-600 W and 400-650 degrees C for 10-15 minutes, treating further at 800-1000 degrees C and 800-1000 W for 10-13 minutes, cooling reactor to room temperature, washing reaction mixture with cleaning solution, drying, ultrasonic-cleaning at 30-40 kHz and 130 W for 10-15 minutes, mixing with sodium alkylbenzene sulfonate dispersant at 2:1 mass ratio, reacting at 32-37 degrees C, introducing mixed reaction medium of carbon dioxide and nitrogen having 2:1 mass ratio until pressure of reactor is 7.38-7.99 MPa, reacting for 20-25 minutes, washing product with ethanol solution, and drying at 90-110 degrees C for 10 hours.
