NOVELTY - The method involves placing (210) a graphene sheet on a fixed structure. The carbon atoms are disrupted (220) in the graphene sheet. The disrupted carbon atoms are removed (230) to create nano pores in the graphene sheet with elliptical pore geometry. The pore geometry of the nanoporous graphene sheet separates hydrogen gas from hydrogen gas mixture. USE - Method for creating nanoporous graphene sheet.
