NOVELTY - Golf ball (B1) comprises a core (10), a mantle layer (14) comprising an ionomer material and 0.1-5 wt.% a graphene material, and a cover layer (16) disposed over the mantle layer. USE - Used as a golf ball. ADVANTAGE - The golf ball: exhibits improved durability and impact strength; and improves aging properties due to the incorporation of graphene in the core for better retention of compression and coefficient of restitution over time. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) golf ball (B2) comprising the core, an inner mantle layer disposed over the core, where the inner mantle layer has a thickness of 0.03-0.09 inch, the inner mantle layer composed of an ionomer material, and the inner mantle layer material has a plaque Shore D hardness of 34-55, an outer mantle layer disposed over the inner mantle layer, where the outer mantle layer has a thickness of 0.025-0.05 inch, and the outer mantle layer comprises an ionomer material and the graphene material, and a cover layer disposed over the outer mantle layer, where the cover layer has a thickness of 0.025-0.04 inch; and (2) golf ball (B3) comprising the core, an inner mantle layer disposed over the core, where the inner mantle layer has a thickness of 0.03-0.09 inch, and the inner mantle layer comprises the ionomer material and the graphene material, an outer mantle layer disposed over the inner mantle layer, where the outer mantle layer has a thickness of 0.025-0.07 inch, the outer mantle layer material has a plaque Shore D hardness of 50-71, the inner mantle is thicker than the outer mantle, and the outer mantle is harder than the inner mantle, and a cover layer is disposed over the outer mantle layer, where the cover layer has a thickness of 0.025-0.05 inch.
