NOVELTY - Preparing graphene oxide and butyl rubber composite material involves dispersing graphene oxide in water to obtain a graphene oxide dispersion liquid, where the mass ratio of graphene oxide to water in the graphene oxide dispersion liquid is 0.001 to 0.1: 1. The butyl rubber is dissolved in a solvent to obtain a butyl rubber solution, and the mass ratio of the butyl rubber to the solvent in the butyl rubber solution is 0.1 to 1:20. A surfactant aqueous solution is prepared according to a mass ratio of 17: 2 by sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate and sodium dihydrogen phosphate. The mass ratio of the mass of sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate and sodium dihydrogen phosphate to water is 0.01: 0.1;. The butyl rubber solution is added to the surfactant aqueous solution at a volume ratio of 0.01: 1 and stirred and dispersed at high speed.
