NOVELTY - Preparing water purification device filter element based on multilayer graphene continuous membrane, comprises (1) annealing the metal sheet in atmosphere of non-oxidizing gas and protective gas; (2) introducing carbon-containing gas into metal sheet, reacting, stopping feeding carbon-containing gas, cooling, obtaining metal sheet covered with multi-layer graphene continuous film; (3a) dissolving metal sheet with ferric chloride solution to obtain complete continuous multilayer graphene film suspended in solution, picking up multi-layer graphene continuous film from solution, fully cleaning in deionized water and drying; or (3b) using adhesive tape to directly peel off multi-layer graphene continuous film from metal sheet, and using chemical reagents or heat to remove adhesive tape; and (4) sandwiching multi-layer graphene continuous film between two layers of pp cotton (or non-woven fabric and other filter materials), and placing between two layers of stainless steel filter screens. USE - The filter element is useful for sewage treatment and seawater desalination. ADVANTAGE - The method: is simple and easy; and has high repetition degree; and utilizes the chemical vapor deposition process (CVD method) to prepare a large-area, uniformly distributed multi-layer graphene continuous film on the metal sheet, thus improving ability of graphene in water purification, improvs the quality of household and office water. The filter element: can actively removes various pollutants, so as to obtain pure direct drinking water.
