NOVELTY - Binder composition (C1) comprises: fluoropolymer(s) comprising residue of vinylidene fluoride; (meth)acrylic polymer(s); and organic medium comprising trialkyl phosphate solvent. The organic medium comprises (i) 40-80 wt.% alkyl ester of (meth)acrylic acid containing 1-3C alkyl, (ii) 18-48% alkyl ester of (meth)acrylic acid containing 4-18C alkyl, (iii) 0.1-10 wt.% a hydroxy alkyl ester, (iv) 0-10 wt.% an α ,β -ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid, and (v) 0-20 wt.% an ethylenically unsaturated monomer comprising a heterocyclic group. The composition comprises: a first fluoropolymer having a weight average molecular weight of 250000-700000 g/mol, preferably 1250000-1500000 g/mol. USE - The composition is useful: in a slurry composition; for manufacturing electrodes for use in electrical storage devices, where the electrical storage device comprises a cell, a battery pack, a secondary battery, a capacitor, or a supercapacitor (all claimed) e.g. batteries. ADVANTAGE - The composition: has excellent electrochemical resistance; and provides electrode having excellent adhesion between electrode material particles and metal foil or mesh upon evaporation of organic solvent.
