NOVELTY - A graphene-based mid-infrared plasmonic waveguide modulator comprises 7- layers, which is an upper substrate, an upper dielectric layer, a bias layer, an intermediate dielectric layer, and a graphene conduction band from top to bottom, a lower dielectric layer and a lower substrate, the upper and lower substrates have symmetric gradient-shaped convex structures in the center, respectively extending toward the middle upper dielectric layer and the middle dielectric layer, and the edges of the upper and lower substrates have a parabola type, hyperbolic, elliptical, sinusoidal, or other curve. USE - Graphene-based mid-infrared plasmonic waveguide modulator. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A graphene-based mid-infrared plasmonic waveguide modulator comprises 7- layers, which is an upper substrate, an upper dielectric layer, a bias layer, an intermediate dielectric layer, and a graphene conduction band from top to bottom, a lower dielectric layer and a lower substrate, the upper and lower substrates have symmetric gradient-shaped convex structures in the center, respectively extending toward the middle upper dielectric layer and the middle dielectric layer, and the edges of the upper and lower substrates have a parabola type, hyperbolic, elliptical, sinusoidal, cosinusoidal, or other curve that achieves gradual modulation of the substrate edge, and its gradient width is the same as the width of the extended portion of the upper substrate and the lower substrate, the bias layer and the graphene conduction band upper dielectric layer, the middle dielectric layer, and the lower dielectric layer.
