NOVELTY - Preparing high performance polyvinyl alcohol/graphene composite film involves obtaining graphene oxide dispersion and polyvinyl acetate/graphene oxide solution, where polyvinyl acetate/graphene oxide solution is obtained by in-situ polymerization under the protection of nitrogen and using 5-30 wt.% monomer, 40-65 wt.% solvent and sequentially adding to the polymerization system and further adding 0.1-1 wt.% initiator, and 5-35 wt.% graphene oxide dispersion, and increasing the temperature to 30 degrees C for 3-6 hours, and then to 50 degrees C for 1-2 hours to obtain mixture. The mixture is added with 0.1-1 wt.% polymerization inhibitor and then stopping the reaction to obtain polyvinyl acetate solution. USE - Method for preparing high performance polyvinyl alcohol/graphene composite film. ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare high performance polyvinyl alcohol/graphene composite film, which has excellent heat-resistant performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - 5-40 wt.% sodium hydroxide methanol solution is added dropwise in 60-95 wt.% polyvinyl acetate solution, then subjected to alcoholysis for 1-5 hours to obtain polyvinyl alcohol/graphene oxide solution and adding 10-25 wt.% sodium hydroxide and methanol solution for polyvinyl acetate / graphene oxide alcoholysis. 99-99.9 wt.% polyvinyl alcohol/graphene oxide solution, 0.1-1 wt.% dopamine are added, pH is adjusted to 8-10 at 40-80 degrees C for 12 hours, and the solution color is changed from bright yellow to dark black and polyvinyl alcohol/graphene (rGO) solution is obtained. The polyvinyl alcohol/graphene (rGO) solution is poured onto a glass plate, placed in an oven, and dried at 60-70 degrees C to form black film of 100-500 mu m thickness as desired product.
