NOVELTY - Graphene-titanium dioxide aerogel composite material comprises graphene oxide lamella structure grown with nano-titanium dioxide particles by in-situ polymerization. USE - The graphene-titanium dioxide aerogel composite material is used in manufacturing an electrode material of lithium-sulfur battery (claimed). The electrode material is anode material. ADVANTAGE - The graphene-titanium dioxide aerogel composite material uses graphene aerogel with high specific surface area and sulfur of high specific capacity, provides anode material of porous three dimensional network structure, solves the lithium polysulfide shuttle effect, fully improves the electrochemical performance of lithium-sulfur battery, and provides simple preparation of lithium sulfur battery anode material. The anode material at current density of 0.5 C has discharge specific capacity of 1520 mAhour/g, and keeps the discharge specific capacity at 800 mAhour/g after 100 cycles. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for graphene-titanium dioxide aerogel composite material comprising mixing graphene oxide water dispersion and deionized water to prepare graphene oxide solution, adding butyl titanate into absolute ethyl alcohol to prepare butyl titanate-ethanol solution, adding butyl titanate-ethanol solution into graphene oxide solution, stirring to obtain mixed solution, putting into a hydrothermal reaction kettle, conducting in-situ polymerization, obtaining graphene oxide lamella structure grown with nano-titanium dioxide particles, taking out, cooling to room temperature, obtaining the titanium dioxide-graphene hydrogel, washing with deionized water and absolute ethyl alcohol for 2-3 times to remove impurities, putting in a freeze dryer, freeze drying, taking out, and obtaining the product.
