NOVELTY - Producing cross-linked graphene-based film, comprises (a) providing graphene oxide, (b) cross-linking multiple graphene oxides, (c) forming cross-linked graphene oxide film, and (d) reducing the film to obtain cross-linked graphene. The step (b) is carried out. The solvent includes substance containing divalent hydroxy group, -NHR (R is hydrogen or hydrocarbon group), -NCO group and -Cl group or their derivatives. The divalent hydroxy group comprises diol or polyol containing aromatic hydrocarbons and their derivatives. USE - The method is useful for producing cross-linked graphene-based film (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The cross-linked graphene-based film has improved moisture barrier property. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Producing cross-linked graphene-based film, comprises (a) providing graphene oxide, (b) cross-linking multiple graphene oxides by dispersing in solvent, (c) forming cross-linked graphene oxide film, and (d) reducing the film to obtain cross-linked graphene. The solvent includes substance containing divalent hydroxy group, -NHR (R is hydrogen or hydrocarbon group), -NCO group and -Cl group or their derivatives. The divalent hydroxy group comprises diol or polyol containing aromatic hydrocarbons and their derivatives. The diol containing aromatic hydrocarbons having molecular formula of (CnH2n+2O2) includes ethylene glycol, propanediol, butanediol, pentanediol, hexanediol, heptanediol and octanediol. The polyol containing aromatic hydrocarbons includes glycerol, L-arabitol, xylitol, pentaerythritol, mannitol, sorbitol, dulcitol and sucrose or derivative of hydroquinone, resorcinol, catechol, dihydroxynaphthalene, bisphenol A and myo-inositol.
