NOVELTY - A packaging film comprises a mechanical support layer surrounding the entire outer surface of a secondary battery electrode assembly, a reduced graphene oxide layer (230) comprising reduced graphene oxide sheets (2320) located outside the mechanical support layer, and a sealant layer positioned outside the reduced graphene oxide layer. The reduced graphene oxide layer comprises reduced graphene oxide sheets forming electrostatic interactions (2330) between the reduced graphene oxide sheets adjacent to each other. USE - Packaging film used for secondary battery such as pouch-type secondary battery or flexible secondary battery (all claimed). Uses include but are not limited to portable devices, tools, uninterruptible power supplies, hybrid vehicles and electric vehicles. ADVANTAGE - The film prevents the electrolyte contamination of the secondary battery, improves the life characteristics of the battery, and prevents the deterioration of battery performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) manufacture of packaging film, which involves preparing the mechanical support layer, forming the graphene oxide layer by coating and drying a dispersion composition in which graphene oxide (GO) particles and metal salts are dispersed on the outside of the mechanical support layer, reducing the formed graphene oxide layer to form a reduced graphene oxide (rGO) layer, and forming a sealant layer on the outside of the reduced graphene oxide layer; and (2) secondary battery, which comprises an electrode assembly, and the packaging film surrounding an outer surface of the electrode assembly.
