NOVELTY - A heating material comprises 1-10 wt.% surface-modified graphene and the balance silane cross-linked polyethylene. The thickness of the heating material is 0.1-5 mm, and the withstand voltage range of the heating material is 1-8 KV. The heating temperature range of the heating material is 4-80° C. The power density of the heating material is 1.0x 10-4-1.0x 10-1W/mm2. USE - Heating material used in self-heating deicing and anti-icing cable (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The heating material has heating and high-voltage resistance, and has broad application prospects. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a preparation of a heating material, which involves mixing the surface-modified graphene and polyethylene, and melt blending at 180-210° C, carrying out silane cross-linking to convert polyethylene into silane cross-linking polyethylene to prepare a heat generating material with a thickness of 0.1-5 mm.
