NOVELTY - Formaldehyde removal agent comprises 1-5 wt.% carboxymethyl chitosan, 0.5-2 wt.% organosilicon quaternary ammonium salt, 0.1-0.5 wt.% natural essential oil, 0.1-0.3 wt.% graphene oxide solution, 0.2-0.5 wt.% lauryl alcohol, 5-15 wt.% polyethylene glycol and water (balance amount). USE - The formaldehyde removal agent is useful in clothing (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The removal agent: has excellent stability; ensures better removal of formaldehyde and protection of clothes; and is non-toxic, non-corrosive and safe. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing formaldehyde removal agent comprising ultrasonically dispersing graphene oxide solution, carboxymethyl chitosan and silicone quaternary ammonium salt, adding and mixing, and then adding natural essential oil, lauryl alcohol, polyethylene glycol and water to obtain final product.
