NOVELTY - Preparation of modified phenolic resin-based activated carbon comprises mixing resin phenolic resin and graphene oxide; adding curing accelerator, foaming agent and surfactant and foaming; carbonizing under inert gas and/or nitrogen gas protection; mixing with alkali and activating under inert gas and/or nitrogen gas protection; and purifying under reducing gas protection and heat treating. USE - Method for preparing modified phenolic resin-based activated carbon used for super capacitor (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The activated carbon has high conductivity and porosity, reduced amount of alkali, high specific surface area, improved mesoporous rate, and mild and simple preparation method.
