NOVELTY - Preparing layered molybdenum disulfide nano sheets/nitrogen, total phosphorus-doped graphene nano composites comprises (i) dispersing graphene oxide in water, adding quaternary phosphine salt, mixing uniformly, then adding molybdate, selenium and ammonia, mixing uniformly; and (ii) carrying out hydro-thermal reaction on the step (i) product, cooling, collecting solid product by centrifugation, washing, drying, carrying out heat treatment in nitrogen or argon gas atmosphere,to obtain the final product. USE - The layered molybdenum disulfide nano sheets/nitrogen, total phosphorus-doped graphene nano composites is useful in electro-catalytic hydrogen evolution reaction (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The layered molybdenum disulfide nano sheets/nitrogen, total phosphorus-doped graphene nano composites has simple structure; and is suitable for industrial production. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing layered molybdenum disulfide nano sheets/nitrogen, total phosphorus-doped graphene nano composites comprises (i) dispersing graphene oxide in water, adding quaternary phosphine salt, mixing uniformly, then adding molybdate, selenium and ammonia, mixing uniformly, where the concentration of graphene oxide in the mixed solution is 20-60 mmol/l, the concentration of quaternary phosphine salt is 10-180 mmol/l, the concentration of molybdate is 10-60 mmol/l, the molar ratio of ammonia and molybdate is 10 ml:1 mmol, the molar ratio of graphene oxide and molybdate is 1:1-2:1, the molar ratio of quaternary phosphine salt and molybdate is 1:1-3:1; and (ii) carrying out hydro-thermal reaction on the step (i) product, cooling, collecting solid product by centrifugation, washing, drying, carrying out heat treatment in nitrogen or argon gas atmosphere,to obtain the final product.
