USE - Used as heavy-duty anti-corrosive cadmium cobalt alloy and graphene sealing coating. ADVANTAGE - The coating has: cadmium cobalt alloy plating layer with high compactness and excellent corrosion resistance, low chrome color passivation layer or military green passivation layer with high corrosion resistance and self-repairability, graphene sealing layer with high corrosion resistance and wear resistance thus provides the overall coating structure with excellent corrosion resistance and makes it suitable for preparing a protective coating for a corrosive environment e.g. the sea. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing heavy-duty anti-corrosive cadmium-cobalt alloy and graphene sealing coating comprises obtaining cadmium-cobalt alloy coating by a potassium chloride cadmium cobalt alloy electroplating process, where the composition is 20-40 g/l cadmium chloride, 2-15 g/l cobalt chloride, 90-160 g/l complexing agent, 120-180 g/l potassium chloride, 1-3 ml/l brightener, 20-40 ml/l auxiliary agent, and 5-15 ml/l positioning agent, the plating solution has a pH of 6.5-7.5, the plating tank has a temperature of 20-35 degrees C, the cathode current density is 0.5-2 A/dm2, and the ratio of the cathode to the anode area is 2:(1-3), the anode adopts a cadmium anode plate with a cadmium content of greater than or equal to 99.97%.
