NOVELTY - Photochemical treatment of graphene-silk composite, involves heating 20-70 pts. wt. silk protein solution (0.1-4 %mass) and 30-80 pts. wt. 0.5-30 mg/mL graphene oxide dispersion at 30 degrees C for 60 minutes, mixing to obtain a graphene oxide-silk composite, and irradiating UV light of wavelength 280-190 nm on silk for 3-8 hours. USE - Photochemical treatment of graphene-silk composite. ADVANTAGE - The method uses natural components, provides safe composite without side effects, enables uniform dyeing, and is economical, convenient and environmentally-friendly.
