NOVELTY - The reduced graphene oxide-metal/metal oxide functional composite material comprises reduced graphene oxide, and metal or metal oxide at mass ratio of 1:3.5-4.5. The metal is silver. The metal oxide is zinc oxide or copper oxide. USE - The reduced graphene oxide-metal/metal oxide functional composite material is used as antibacterial (claimed) for inhibiting Phytophthora sojae. ADVANTAGE - The composite material has synergistic antibacterial performance, low cost, and simple preparation method. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of the composite material comprising providing 2-2.5 mg/mL graphene oxide suspension, adding metal salt compound including zinc salt, silver salt or copper salt, mixing uniformly, adding reducing agent, and performing hydrothermal reaction.
