NOVELTY - Regenerating waste ternary cathode materials involves mixing waste ternary cathode materials with acid for activation, then mixing the activated positive electrode material with the lithium source solution, supplement lithium under pressure and heating, and annealing the positive electrode material after lithium supplementation in an inert atmosphere. The annealed positive electrode material, nickel source, cobalt source, manganese source, fluoride, and water are mixed to obtain the mixture and spray granulate to obtain an nickel cobalt manganese oxide (NCM) precursor, which is calcined under an oxygen atmosphere to obtain calcined material. The calcined material is pre-coated in a liquid phase with porous graphene loaded with coating particles, and calcined the obtained pre-coated material in an aerobic atmosphere to obtain a coated ternary positive electrode material. USE - Method for regenerating waste ternary cathode materials. ADVANTAGE - The method effectively improves the purity, structural stability and electrochemical performance of the regenerated ternary cathode material by means of annealing, doping, gradient calcination and coating.
