NOVELTY - The heater/generator (1) has a transparent glass or plastics tube (2) including an evacuated double wall (3) around a hollow core (4), where length of graphene foam (5) is provided inside the tube hollow core. A focusing unit e.g. lens (6), focuses sunlight on the graphene foam in the tube, where the graphene foam heats up and warms air in the tube. An electric fan (7) is provided to expel warm air from the tube. The tube is mounted vertically. A rotor is provided in the hollow core to be rotated by hot air rising through the tube when the air in the tube is warmed. USE - Solar heater/generator for use on a roof of a building i.e. house. ADVANTAGE - The graphene foam heats up from the energy in the sun and warms air in the tube, so that the air in the tube rises by convection and exits from upper end, and is replaced by colder air through inlet port, thus rising air to drive the rotor to generate electricity in an effective manner.
